Origin/meaning

Theodor Körner (1873-1957) was a Genral who served both duirng the Austro-Hungarian Army and the Army of the 1st Austrian Republic. He left military service and entered Politics and a Member of the Austrian Socialdemocratic Pary and was Mayor of Vienna 1945-1951. He was then elected Federal President of Austria, a post he held until his death.
