German | Schild von gold und blau geteilt; oben ein liegendes Hifthorn, unten ein Schragen in verwechselten Farben. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 27, 1939.
The upper half shows a horn, derived from the 15th century seal of Krombach-Ferndorf. The lower half is a canting element (Kreuz=cross) and symbolises also the fact that the municipality consists of four valleys.
Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
