Origin/meaning

The arms of Stendenbach were granted on May 27, 1939.

The upper part shows a wall-anchor, a symbol taken from the arms of the local Lords of Wildenberg, who had their estate in the municipality. The lower part shows a horn, the symbol of the Amt Ferndorf, to which the municipality belonged.
