The Embattlement highlights the Engineers of the former 3rd Infantry Division Engineer Brigade from which the Battalion was formed. The four embattlements indicates the 4th Brigade. The Battle Axe symbolises the Military Police Function to conduct security operations to provide law and order and process Ememy Prisoners of War/Civilian Internees. The Billet symbolises the Insignia of the 3rd Infantry Division.
